Ingredients

• 8oz  caster sugar
• 2 tblsp golden syrup
• 8oz margarine
• 16oz self-raising flour
• 11oz chocolate chews

Preheat oven to 200c. Grease trays lightly.

1. Mix the margerine, syrup and sugar
2. Add flour and add chocolate chews
3. Dough should be crumbly and just holding when squeezed
4. Press walnut size shapes out onto the baking trays and bake in the oven for eight minutes (until just starting to brown)
